BOOKINGS
​
To secure your appointment a non refundable booking fee of your full treatment fee is required at the time of your booking. This fee will cover the full cost of your treatment. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations and for treatments to be rescheduled.
Please note that the booking fee is non refundable under any circumstances and in the event of a cancellation, the booking fee will not be refunded, if more than 48 hours notice is given then the booking fee may be moved to another date of your choosing.
By securing and making an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms regarding the non refundable booking fee.

ARRIVAL TIMES
​
We usually recommend arriving to your appointment destination 5 minutes before your appointment begins, encase of traffic. Your allotted parking space to use is number 34 please do not park elsewhere. Arriving late to your appointment will limit the time of your treatment, reducing its effectiveness and your enjoyment, if you are more than 15 minutes late you will be turned away and loose your appointment time. Your appointment will finish on time to prevent the next client from being delayed, unless the reason for a delayed appointment start time is our fault, then you will receive the full treatment time.

TREATMENT TIMES
​
The treatment times given are for guideline purposes only and include time to go through to the treatment rooms, a consultation, time for the therapist to get you a drink at the end of your treatment, give you appropriate aftercare advice plus time to get changed. In some cases treatments times may be slightly shorter than advertised, especially waxing, manicures and pedicures. This is due, to the area being treated needing less work than the average person, i.e. hair type, hair quantity or amount of hard skin etc.

CHILDREN & AGE RESTRICTIONS
​
To ensure everyone has a relaxing experience, we kindly request that children are not brought along to your treatments. Any clients that do bring children along will unfortunately be turned away as we are not insured to have them on the premises. The minimum age for the majority of treatments is 12, please ask when booking for more information. Teenagers from the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times to ensure we adhere to the children act policies in place. Intimate waxing is only available to female clients 18 and over.
Any injectable treatments also have an age restriction of 18 and over, ID must be shown before an appointment is made or you will be turned away from your appointment.

PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS
​
If you require a treatment that consists of a prescription only medication, such as botulism toxin, b12 or vitamin d. you will need to attend an appointment to see our prescriber so that a script can be written specifically for you. If this is something you require please get in touch.

MOBILE PHONES
​
To ensure everyone has a relaxing experience, please switch your mobile phones off, on arrival and respect the quiet and relaxing environment of our clinic. If you must make a phone call, please do so before your treatment time. We understand some people need their phones due to childcare etc, if this is the case please be sure to tell your therapist before your treatment begins. Alexandra house also occupies other businesses, please do not enter the premises while talking on a mobile phone.

PREGNANCY & MEDICAL CONDITIONS
​
Any pregnancies, medication or recent medical conditions must be mentioned at the time of booking. During pregnancy, facials can be carried out after the first trimester (12 weeks). We will only carry out facials and intimate waxing after the 6 weeks post partum check, 12 weeks if having undergone a C-section.

CANCELLATION POLICY
​
We understand that cancellation policies are not a comfortable subject, however, as we are a busy clinic, late cancellations and no shows result in other clients missing out on appointment opportunities and a therapist’s day being disrupted. We therefore kindly request that to avoid incurring unnecessary costs and as a matter of common courtesy, 48 hours notice is given if you wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If less than 48 hours notice is given we reserve the right to keep your full booking fee, that has been taken or collect an appropriate amount from any gift cards held. As any treatments over 60 minutes, will block out so much of our therapist’s time we ask that 48 hours notice is given if you need to cancel or reschedule these.

PATCH TEST
​
We carry out patch tests at least 24 hours prior to the following treatments; eyebrow and eyelash tinting, brow lamination and eyelash lifting and mesotherapy . Tattoo and laser hair removal will require a different time frame for treatments depending on the individual.
This is to protect ourselves and our clients from having an adverse reaction to the products or lasers used. If you have had the treatment done elsewhere, we still require a patch test as the product used may be different.

GIFT CARDS
​
Illumine Aesthetics gift cards can be purchased for any amount and can be exchanged for services of an equal value or used in part payment to a higher value. No cash can be redeemed from the voucher and they are non-refundable and non-transferable. The vouchers are valid for 6 months from the purchase date. We will accept expired cards for up to 1 month after the expiry at 50% of their value. If buying as a Christmas gift the voucher can be valid from 25th December for 6 months, but this must be mentioned at the time of purchase. Gift Cards are available to purchase either in the clinic or over the telephone. If purchased over the telephone we can send the Gift Card to you or the person it is for. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time.
