In line with UK regulations, all treatments involving prescription-only medications — such as Botulinum toxin and Vitamin shots— legally require a face-to-face consultation with a qualified medical prescriber prior to treatment. This law, enforced from October 2021, was introduced to protect client safety and ensure appropriate clinical care.
At Illumine, we strictly follow this guidance. A £25 upfront fee is required at the time of booking and is paid directly to the prescriber. This covers your consultation and prescription assessment. Please note, payment for the treatment itself must be made in full and booked directly through our website.
Once your treatment plan has been approved, your prescription remains valid for six months, allowing you to continue your treatment course safely under the guidance of our prescriber.
